Workflow

During application implementation, all company business processes are modeled following BPM methodology, where we determine operations flows and business rules to accomplish. Those rules are defined in this module and allow a flexible definition based on the company possibilities. Among the module characteristics, we can find:

Collections and Treasury

Funds are managed from a collections process point of view, but allowing flexibility to different approaches. The module includes:

Collection slips with multiple payment methods
Unassigned collections and application to invoices
Collection in any defined currency
Defined by Cash concept with cash report and funds availability
Limited minor expenses or petty cash
Group collections by disposition
Payment orders for miscellaneous items (Taxes, Advances, etc)

Procurement

In a world where the procurement function has been specialized, this module allows a profesional buyer function with according key indicators. It includes the following functionality:

Purchases classification according the commodities specific to the procurement activity
Purchase orders by Department
Vendor invoices asociated (or not) to purchase orders
Allows to keep the scanned original vendor invoice online, thus eliminating paperwork for approvals and reviews
Documents taxes retentions when applicable
Manages individual and batch payments to vendors, allowing to send a massive list to the bank.

Import and Export shipments handling and Imports costing

Manufacturing

Manufacturing process requires planning, execution and control, this module provides all these elements with the following characteristics:

Real and Standard costing calculation
Allows unique product and joint products

Defines a productive process and the relationships among each one to obtain the final product
Allows to plan and execute manufacturing

Inventory

Inventory management is based on a structured product definition and uses flexible definitions for count and control. The module has:

Stock quantities can be at Warehouse, Bin Location, Manufacturing or Purchasing Lot (with expiring date), Serial (for specific identification) or combinations of them
Costing is based on Accounting accepted methods
Delivery notes are optional
Allows billing and delivery at the same time
Reception of goods can be based on Purchase Order, Vendor Invoice or Import shipment.
Electronic Stocktake with second counts and diferences investigation.
Makes warehouse operations and control independent

Fixed Assets

Manages and controls all Fixed Assets and their depreciation. It includes Property, Plant and Equipment as well as Investment Property and Intangible Assets. Its characteristics include:

Each asset held is clearly identified and associated
Uses cost centers for usage and depreciation charge
Defines responsibles to keep stock control
Allows all doctrinary depreciation methods
Allows revaluation based on fair value determined by appraisal or based on indexes
Flexible to operate monthly or anually

Human Resources

Work history
Payroll according to current country law
Fully configurable, not requiring software code changes when there are law changes
Calculates monthly accumulation items (13th salary, etc)
Determines accrued expenses based on salaries
